The machine fits where a standard laundry pair cannot. It measures 23.4 inches wide, 23.1 inches deep and 33.5 inches tall, runs on 120V and needs no outside exhaust pipe, so it can sit in a closet, under a standard 36-inch counter, or in an apartment with no dryer vent and no 240V line.

The wash drum is genuinely large for a 24-inch combo. It holds 2.7 cu. ft., washes up to 25.6 lbs, uses a stainless steel tub and spins at up to 1300 rpm, which pulls more water out before drying starts.

Wash choice is real rather than a padded cycle count. The 16 selections include Normal/Cotton, Perm Press, Heavy Duty, Bulky/Large, Sportswear, Sanitary, Baby Wear, Wool, Delicates, Quick Wash, Cold Wash and Tub Clean, with Hot+, Hot, Warm, Eco and Cold temperatures, three soil levels, an Extra Rinse and a 24-hour delay.

Wash and dry run in the same drum, so a load can be set and left without a transfer. Child Lock, Door Lock, auto unbalance detection, an LED control panel and a transparent door round out the controls, and ISTA-6A packaging protects the machine in transit.

The dry capacity is roughly half the wash capacity. The BCW27MW washes up to 25.6 lbs but dries up to only 13.2 lbs, so a full wash load has to be split before drying, or the drum has to be loaded only to the dryer's limit from the start.

Fill the drum no more than three-quarters full of dry clothes for a wash-only cycle, and no more than half full for wash-and-dry or dry-only. It also recommends drying in several smaller loads for better performance.

Drying is slow by design. Ventless condenser drying on a 120V circuit cannot match the speed of a 240V vented dryer. The dryer offers Timed Dry and Auto Dry with Normal, Delicate and Extra Dry options. Whichever option you choose, dense loads take longer still.

The wash cycles include Permanent Press, Sportswear and Quick Wash. The machine is not ENERGY STAR certified.

The door is not reversible, and the machine needs about 42.5 inches of clear depth with the door open 90 degrees, a real constraint in a narrow closet. It is not portable either: at 160.9 lbs it needs permanent hot and cold plumbing and a drain. The detergent dispenser has a single compartment, with no separate softener slot.

A combined cycle starts with loading to the half-full mark, then choosing a wash cycle and a dry option. The cycle options include Normal. On the drying side, the options are Timed Dry and Auto Dry, with Normal, Delicate and Extra Dry settings.

The practical consequence is that a combined wash-and-dry is an hours-long job rather than a fast turnaround. That suits an overnight run or a cycle while you are out, and it does not suit anyone who needs a load finished before work. The 24-hour delay lets a cycle finish when you want it to.

The dry limit is about half the wash limit, and the manual's half-full rule for combined cycles means the practical one-load capacity is well under what the drum looks like it holds. The working rule is simple. For a one-pass wash-and-dry, load to the dryer's 13.2 lb limit. For wash-only, use the full three-quarters of the drum.

Bedding is where this bites. Bulky/Large exists as a cycle, but the 13.2 lb dry limit and the half-full rule make a king comforter unrealistic.

You do not need an outside exhaust duct or a 240V outlet. You do need both hot and cold water inlets, a drain connection and a grounded 120V circuit.

Placement matters. Set the machine on a level, rigid floor, never on carpet or a platform, with about 1 inch of clearance on the sides. The door is not reversible, so plan the swing before delivery. At 160.9 lbs, plan for two people and a clear path.
